I am looking for some info on how the bite is going by the dam at Dubuque? Maybe a little tip on what the eyes are hitting right now? I was out trying my boat out close by on tuesday evening but I didn’t have a chance to ask anyone. Seemed like quite a few boats were fishing though, so soneone must have been having luck, Thanks
I was actually down there today. I took my boat out for a test ride and equipment check. A guy coming off said he had 4. 2 nices ones he said, all on the wisconsin side by the barge. I didnt ask what he was using sorry. 20 trailers when i got off the water at 5:30. the guys also said they seemed to be picking some up towards afternoon. I took a few casts in a small backbay and managed to hook a big northern that stole my spinnerbait

Sounds good. I plan a outing for fishing sunday if all goes as planned. I too did an equipment check yeaterday on a boat I just purchased and re-learned to drive a boat. It’s been a few years since I fished the Mississippi and im sure someone got a laugh watching me trying to get on plane yesterday. I did catch on after a few attempts — realizing I was trimming the wrong way. Thanks for the info…maybe see you on the water.
its a little slow but you can get some fish
