Getting some good quality walleyes in Alma. We had 9 fish yesterday over 22″ and 4 over 27″. Here is one pic…Biggest yesterday went 10.5 caught by a lady in my boat that had never caught a walleye in her life. Here is one of her first fish ever, a northern…All fish caught on Hutch’s 3/32 oz jigs..Not sponsored by him but like his jigs..

Will post that big walleye pic later..

    Hi Jarrad,

Is the dock in the water at the ramp in town?

    Great looking fish.

Yep guiding more than ever now…Got laid off Dec. 31 so guiding is all I have now. Thank god for unemployment….

Here is laura’s first walleye ever…Yes, her first . I think she is spoiled. I might have to take her along every time now…Last year I took her hunting and shot a 140″+. Now she thinks she is good luck and I have to take her every where….

Nice looking fish & pics Jarred. Looking forward to spending the next few weekends hopefully on the river. Weather & wife permitting. Hopping between P4 & P5 the Walleye bite should really be starting to kick out some dandy fish. Hope the work situation picks up for you as I got lucky enough & had an opportunity to move on to another contractor to keep busy through the winter months.Otherwise the work outlook for the contractor I had been with for over 14 years was not looking good either. Looking forward to see some of the fellow IDO members on the river soon. If you see a gold & brown metalflake VS Ranger with a 175 Merc & Yammie kicker hanging on the back, stop by & say HI Until then, best of luck fishing all. WHITE TIP

Sweet looking fish! Now if the dang weather would cooperate with my work schedule. If this mid-week pattern keeps up I might be feeling ill on a couple nice days mid-week. Looking forward to seeing a few of these big girls in the weeks to come. Keep up the great work gents & see you all on the river. WHITE TIP

There are still some nice fish being caught in Alma. With the flows coming up you might want to start thinking shallower. Wingdams have also been producing..Work the seam where the current hits the dam and you will do well.
