Hey all, I was out yesterday with Wapiti from the website and we had some consistant action. Nothing like they were commiting suicide or anything but they were all way healthy !!

Id say we caught in the neighborhood of 15-20 fish ranging from 14.9999 ” to one that Andy caught that measured 21+”… CPR

The tools we used for the day were St.Croix 6’8″ Med with the extra fast tips. Spooled up with 6lb test solar xt, and some Spider Wire Stealth…Jigs ranged from H20 jigs and Glitter Head Jigs all in either 1/4 oz or 5/16th oz.

The presentation was v-jigging in anywhere from 15-20′ deep to pitching to the shallows and dragging them back to the boat.Plastics used were B_fish_N Tackles doos, ringworms and K-grubs wit hthe ringies catching all the fish. The weird thig was that it was a one hour bite..i mean for about an hour the’d hit the Dustys Pro Blue, then they didn’t want nothing to do with it.Then they wanted Tequila Sunrise, then Chameleon Orange Tail,,and on and on and on…it kept us on the go the whole day

We did bring some home for supper and when I cleaned them up I found LARGE/HUGE sahd in their bellies..

I did bring my camera with me……but

I left it in the truck

my bad…it sure was beautiful out there..a bit nippy in the am but was nice day to be out on the river…I would have gone out today but the chore list was getting a bit to big and I needed to cut it down to size for a little more breathing room…

Haven’t a clue…the stuffin from some bodys teddy bear..

    Do they work as bait????

    On the serious side…

There hasn’t been an eviromental spill down your way has there??

It could be some type of absoring spill material???

I remember some years back When a barge split above the dam and released a crap load of soybeans made a mess for a while…

No I do not know what they are…

Boyant material thats in the floor hulls of some boats in case they take on water as not to sink completely? New experimental bobber material from canada? Does it glow in the dark profusly, Kind of a brain crimper!

when i finally picked one of these things from the water, it was like a sponge…just barely afloat and I squeezed all the water out of it…we’ll see tonight if my fingers start to glow or fall off

    Dave:

The first pic looked like a pool cue tip!!! Any potential??? Hope its nothing dangerous or your fingers might not just be blue!!!
