Best fish from my trip to Pool 4

    I did say fish and not walleye.This gal pulled my string for a while before she gave up. I dont know what she weighed but she is a personal best for me in the sturgeon catagory.

    Those gals seem to show up more around the winter season it seems. They can put up a good tug on your line and get a guy excited as you never know know if its a ten pound walleye or what. Thanks for sharing. Thanks, Bill

    That was fun, she was the biggest fish I have ever landed on 6lb test. She was hard to get off of the bottom,I usually use much heavier line to bass fish so I really didnt know how much pressure to apply. I REALLY wanted to see this fish. I was thinkin big walleye, then catfish the way it stayed down .She did eat my bait and was not snagged. Great fun

    Awesome fish!! Those fish are so cool when you think about how old it could possibly be. I caught/snagged one with James on my maiden voyage to Pool 4. It was @ 48 inches long, took a pic and let her go. Gotta love the river don’t ya, never know what’s tugging on your line.

    The first fish on my outing with Dustin was a sturgon. probably around 3′ or so. Ugly buggers aint they?

    Be nice Sled , you should have come with us. We left on Sat but the snow never made it and they slayed em on Sunday Rats!!
