    Is open with boat activity all the way to the dam.

    They are also fishing open water at Victory and to the south.

    As best I can tell from the hwy it’s open from Lansing to Genoa. There is a stretch of river north of Victory you cannot see from Hwy 35 but I’m pretty certain it’s open given the condition both north and south of that area. I didn’t go below the 82 dike (Lansing) area. There looked to be a pretty good ice jam on the bend near the Lansing Marine yesterday. Have to go over and get the cheap IA gas ya know…….

    Obviously, I wouldn’t be afraid to toodle up and down at slow speeds but I wouldn’t be putting her up on plane yet. There are some sporadic floaters you can see from the road. For every floater visible there’s usually one NOT visible. And I’m not talking about a Taliban Solider either…
