Hey it’s decision time for those of us trapped in the middle of the state. What do you guys recommend this weekend? Weather should be great, hope the fishing is too.

I’m going to try guttenberg again, saw some limits taken last weekend. I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice this time of year, good luck!

Well we’re staying in McGregor so that will be the base. Hope that rain holds off enough to make it bearable through Sunday. I always tell the wife, I buy gear not clothes for days like Sunday.

Report for Lynxville on Fri. The bite was good with 10 to 14 boats and all looked to be catching fish. The am bite started early with blade baits, black&white and silver being the best. Switched to jig and minnows about noon and the bite continued with chartruse and white twister tails being dominent. Got only a few small fish and took home one limit of 16″ to 17″ for eaters. released all the females and a couple 18″. Vertical jigging the wall and 10 to 30 yards out from it and drifting from the float down to the first inlet all produced fish. Let the females go to produce for next year.
