What a great day for mid November. I had to get my canoe out one more time. Put in south of Hastings, pretty decent action. 14 eyes — half legals. I didn’t catch one over about 17″ though. Best pattern for me was throwing a 1/16 oz jig with a 2″ twister tail and fathead toward steep banks with wood down to about 8 feet. All the fish were in less than 10 feet. All walleyes except one sauger. Hoping for a couple more nice days like Tuesday before the snow flies.
