Have the walleyes/saugers moved in by the downtown St. Paul airport? I would like to get out Friday afternoon (Nov 7) for a little while.

Don’t mean to sidetrack the post… but just as an FYI… there were signs posted along the road that goes to the 494 ramp. Says the road will be closed Nov 11th… don’t know if it’s just for that day… or an extended period. Looks like the construction for the bridge is going to be taking over that area for awhile.

sure would have to think some fish are moving in that area, and on some of the little humps on the east side of the river, east of the airport. I’d also try the fairly deep channel between south of pigeye down to north of the bridge. keep us posted. take a camera, still catch and release in pool 2. Jack.

    hi Mark,
I have to agree, but some nights do get pretty late. At 4:30pm now, seems more like normal hours, fishing times, but on break at work. Jack.
