This is an e-mail that Tom and Bev Clearman From CR, IA sent me. We fished Bass on Friday (Bass Forum) and I was to join them for Tuna’s weekly Saturday Tourney but a NASTY virus kicked my butt. So called them out of Bed and told them where to sit.
We had a great time on Saturday! We went out to the wing dam you recommended. Your directions were excellent. We were fishing by about 7:15. Bev caught the first two fish a 16″ and an 18″. They went good until about 9:30 then slowed down until ~ 11:00. The largest one we caught was 19″ Just
under 3lbs. We fished Hair and we threw some 5″ Kalins and some Ring Worms. They all took fish . I think we caught about 15 walleyes 16″ to 19″. There were some people lurking around your wing dam, but we were anchored up and
they couldn’t push us off.
They also said Tom and the gang at Tuna’s were a pleasant experience.
