Saugers are HOT!!

    Sauger fishing is hot north of the “Y”. Mazner, myself and his cousin were out this afternoon and jigs and plastics put amazing numbers and size in the boat. Twisters, shad baits, ring worms, they all worked. We were going to pitch shallow for some eyes but we had so much fun nailing saugers we never got to it. Good fun!!

    I agree with all that……..fun fishin’ today……..and not a large number of boats on the river. The only thing that could have been better was the temp., 10 degrees warmer would have made it peeerrrrfect!
