Great day on the river. Launched at Prescott and mostly fished the bridge. Trying to get used to my bow mount on my new Warrior. Boy do I suck! Hard to catch alot of fish going in circles. Had the place to myself most of the afternoon. Lots of fish from 24-28′. Had a good jig bite going for awhile, when that shut down I switched to a rig. All the fish I caught on the rig were small male saugers, and some really small eyes. The jig fish were mostly female saugers. No big fish. Glad I was alone, didn’t run in to anybody! Keep it vertical.

    GP,

Hey amigo! Did you do any fishing near the Kinni, I’ve got to think that will heat up some time soon… I haven’t been on the croix for a good week as I’ve been on Pool 4 (which rocked today) but with the water temp at 41 and appearing to be holding, I’ve got a few sneaky suspisions about where we might be able to tag some? Lets do it!

It would be hard to look like a goof in the Warrior of yours! Holy moley, that boat is A-1 sharp and it crushes the waves as the glass always does! One thing about the Warriors that rocks is that trolling keel, any angler that springs for a new boat has to look at the Warrior lines!

Let me know about this coming week for the Croix or Pool 4, if we want to work for them, lets hit the Croix, for easy pickings let’s go Pool 4!

    Keep catchin’

    Turk
