pool 4 11-29-01

Hi everyone. Just wanted to give a little report from today. I managed to get away from the resort for a couple of hours today and go fishing. For living 50 ft. from pool 4, you’d think I would fish more, but I won’t bother you with my whining. Jack N. from the board and I went out today from 10 till 1215. We casted rocks looking for eyes with no luck. Then we swithched to the old standby of jig and minnow in 15-20 ft of water. We found many aggressive fish. Caught 5 sauger over 17 with biggest 19.5 and 7 b/w 15-17. Also caught 6-8 really small wallys. The fish were really active. Wish I could have fished longer. Oh. and only 6 other boats up there!!

hi Steve, thanks for sharing your boat with me today, it was short but a lot of fun. it is surprising what you can catch in just 2 hours. definitely had some good size going today. yes for someone who lives 50 ft away from good water, we all expect you’d be fishing more. but to make up for it, you did catch the biggest Sauger, and most of the better fish, way to go. am looking forward to doing it again soon, and thanks again. see you on Sunday.
