Dave,
I agree totally with the above posts. These drifting holes will produce saugers and a mix of walleyes. As Jon mentioned stay shallower for the eyes. Look to the first break into the hole and hug this area. Alot of times this will produce some nicer fish. Another area for drifting is just below 494 bridge. Start just below the first red marker and drift down until the river starts to bend. This area can produce some nice fish as well.
Dave, you have probably seen my recent reports on Pool 2 and the wingdams are kicking out some above average fish right now. Up by the airport, there are some popular wingdams that are worth a stop. Some of the bigger wingies get most of the intention, But do not neglect some of the smaller secondary wingdams that are up there. These spots as of lately have been turning more and better fish than some of the bigger (more flow) wingdams. Another sauger spot is inside Mud Lake. This deep little lake has a history of kicking out walleyes and saugers right now. I had some action in there a couple weeks ago, but have not been in there since. Stay in the 8-15 ft for the walleyes and deeper for the saugers. Just work slowly around the edges with a jig/minnow.
Good luck
