A big thanks to bob and scott and the best of luck to them on the last day of the MWC. I had the pleasure to be the amateur that got to fish with them and watch them pull in a 9.67 lb hog. What a thrill.
Thanks to you both as I had a great time.

    Nice pic Wahly!

Care to share what the hot bait was along with depth and what kind of structure is was taken off of? It is always nice to know what types of areas are producing fish like that on other pools

The only advice I can give you right now is to concentrate on the main river channel edges for best results on pool 4. I was out yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks and it was slow, only 7 keepers in the 16″ to 19″ range. I had one fish on hair and the rest came on purple/chart tail ringies. That is the only color I could even get a hit on . The fish were not hitting very hard and not aggressive at all. I was using a 1/8oz jig head and snapping it back to the boat pretty hard trying to get a reaction strike out of those fish, most of the time when you jig this aggressively a lot of fish will miss the bait and results at hook up are very poor . On some days that the only way to get um though . 7’ to 10’ was the magic depths for the fish I did boat.
