had only a couple of hours this am so went to hastings dam. best sauger bite was 15-18 ft, two biggest were 18 1/2″ and a nice 19 1/2″. best Walleye area was along the shallow shoreline riprap, throwing small jigs with minnow, up to 21″ walleye. fishing was descent and felt good, the morning was mild and fairly warm. to good a day to not spend a few hours on the river.
