My wife and I met another couple yesterday and headed to the Lacupolis area. We were catching a fair number of eyes, most just under the 15″ mark along with the usual pile of sheephead. We were dragging jigs and crawlers when my wife hooked a decent fish. I thought it was a giant sheephead until it got close to the boat. The fish was just diggin for bottom with giant head shakes. I’ve caught my fair share of 28″ plus eyes but pool 4 hasnt been kind to me in that respect so on the first glance of the fish i had no doubt my wife had one. She played it like a pro, man was i proud as i netted this fish. She taped at 28 1/2″ and was released. I hope this picture works.
