What a great day to be on the water. You couldn’t ask for a nicer Nov day. I had the pleassure of taking my dad and sister out for a day of fishing, and the fish really cooperated!! For us #5 Shad Raps worked untra shallow gave up number of real nice walleyes all day long. I was actually suprised the bite didn’t die at midday. We also had quite a few smallmouth and largemouth bass take our Raps as well. Double headers were not uncommon. We also saw some very nice crappies caught. Wish I would have have some crappie minnows.

    Mike,

Looks like you had the same pattern going as I did today the numbers were good and #5 shad raps were the key color preference did not matter all of my fish came in 2′ to 4′ of water we had 20+ fish today nothing on plastics or hair. In the afternon lipless cranks like the rattle trap produced very well we took several fish on the traps. The dam area was pretty slow from the boats I spoke to at the landing.

    Fish shallow!

    Dustin
