What a day on the water! Despite a strong wind, I backtrolled most of the day and found great success. Ended up with a limit, one walleye and five sauger. The walleyes I was catching most of the day were just under 15 inches. The saugers were, well, saugers. Though the one I kept were pretty decent. Last count I had caught 13 walleye and 11 sauger on the day. I was pretty much alone, too. Few other boats in the area.
