Pool 2 Walleye question

Hey everyone,
I launched the boat at the Hidden Falls launch today, this was my first time ever on Pool 2. It was a beautiful day! I’m not much of a river fisherman, so I pretty much went up near the dam, casting a ringworm (firecracker), then went down near the confluence where the water gets deeper on the shoreline opposite the Minnesota, and I did the same thing. Not even a bite!! My question is, how do you guys do it? I’m not even sure where to start down there on Pool 2. Most of the water upstream from the confluence was about 10-13 feet, and I really couldn’t find a lot of current breaks or structure. I did put the Aqua View down and saw a MESS of drums in the deeper areas, couldnt even get one of those guys to bite anything. So what should I do, where should I start fishing? The more specific youre willing to be, the better, as far as where exactly to go. Thanks!
