Got out late in the morning around 10ish, first fish came within 2 minutes and it was constant saugers there on after. Gold blades seemed to be the ticket, i concentrated around the Y area, right where the river dumps in out by the buoy. Hair and a minnow brought constant fish to the boat, except they kept biting the tails off the minnows. I did not get into any size of fish, but the numbers were impressive. I never did venture up towards the dam. I suppose thats where the other boats were, because i was the only one at the Y for the most part. There were maybe half a dozen cars in deans lot when i launched and 1 left when i returned. Good day to be on the brisk river.
Thanks to Eric for catching me out the door, i almost forgot my minnows!
