The word is that the bite is fast paced on smaller fish up near the dam. You’ve been there. Caught more little saugers on jig/minnow than you care to remember. Right? Maybe there’s a way to get into the bigger fish that are rumored to be caught ALL the time…. but what, where, how?

Jim “Beaver” Slivinski has to be applauded for his timing… as well as his writing ability, on this latest article because the bigger fish are smackin’ bucktails NOW!

Interested? Thought so. Here’s the link to the article.

For some odd reason I couldn’t access the story. When you refer to bucktails, are they similar to Maribou Jigs?

Jim, the link is working for me. Maybe try to get to the article through the HomePage link???

Maribous are similar, but different. More hair, less fuzz!

Are you using internet explorer. That’s why I can’t read some of the articles. Can you access all of the articles in the FTR Library on the main page. There’s lots of articles there and some work but some won’t if your using a software like netscape communicater. Thats how it was explained to me any way. There’s a link to download

internet exporer 6.0 on the main page. I’m afraid I don’t have room on my system to download anything else at this time so I haven’t tried it yet. Try looking at all the articles in the library and see if you can read them all.
