I was on the water by 3pm and fished until dark. I had called Dean ahead of time (Thanks Dean) and found out that the dragging bite was good. 3/16 jig with Oystershell or Chart. Green dragged up river worked well. I stayed in the 14 – 15 FOW most of the time. At the 4pm the fish turned suicidal… on one pass, I picked up 5 fish, including a double! Those fish were engulfing the ringworms. Ended the day with 14 or 15 fish… half-n-half walleye and sauger 15″ – 19″. Took 6 males home for a fish-fry as the kids are home from college.
