OK….I was reading an article tonight about Pepin in fall….I think it was in an In-Fisherman mag….but anyway…it was talking about this time of year being a time when sauger will significantly stack up in the south end of Lake Pepin….it said something about fishing them along the first deeper break down there….and then if they’re not there, they’ll be stacked in the shallows where you could do some shallow water speed trolling or a couple of other techniques…. so…I was just wondering if this is really true for pepin this time of year? All the reports I’ve read online talk about fishing the WI and MN channels and the north end of Pepin… which I know those fish are there….but are the sauger also stacked in the south end???? Thanks…
Pepin/ Sauger…
