    Was at the MWC weigh in yesterday. First tourny style weigh-in. pretty cool. Saw some nice limits of fish and a few that were skimpy but for the most part limits were pretty good sized. Saw one man and woman bring in a 9+, and another group bring in 23+#’s.There was a rumor someone very early in the day weighed in at 28#s. Not a bad bag.Weigh in today is 3:00 at Treasure Island. Cross some Eyes!!!

    Here’s a quick follow-up with a pic from the final day of the MWC Championship help on pools 3 and 4 this past Thursday – Saturday.

    Below: Randy “ProV” Stevens with an 8 Lb eye he and his partner and son Rob caught on Saturday. We’ll assume Rob “Predator2” is back there somewhere behind that nice walleye talking with the MC for the event! Team Stevens finished in 9th place….. congrats guys!

    A strong finish by two of the nicest guys to ever run the river.

    Way to go!!Great job guys!!!! I will be waiting for your follow up post entailing the exact location and presentation used to catch that magnifficent eye.

    The fish was caught on rootbeer point on a rootbeer colored crank bait.
