Does anyone fish the MN River for walleye,and how is the bite for you.
I have fished out west and done OK but in my neck of the woods(Chaska to Jordan) it has been tough this year.The baitfish are scarce and so are the fish.Just wondering if things are better downstream?

Yup I am dying here in Chaska.I think I go through this every year.I haven’t kept a log in the past and I get excited about walleyes the first cold snap,then fish my brains out for a month wondering where the heck the fish are
.I was looking through some old photos and noticed there weren’t any leaves on the trees.They ought to start biting shortly!
Still, is there any one out there who fishes the MN?Would be nice to compare info and trade hot spots.
