This forum has been so quiet lately. What is going on. The walleye fishing the past few days have been great. Monday I caught four 16 to 20″ in about a hour, before I started catching crappies. Last night I caught 10 walleye all released from 5:30 to 7:00 biggest coming at 22″ and a few 16 to 18″. All fish were caught casting crankbaits parrallel to the wingdams. It the best fishing I have had since Late july. If your after stripers try up near the dam they are every where. I would bet you could catch a hundred in a day. I was using a jigging spoon waiting for the fog to lift to make my way down river on monday. Use you graph to mark the fish or the shad and the stripes will be there. I did not catch any walleye up at the dam. The cold front that is coming is probably going to change things I hope not.
