3 Bands playing lake Pepin Saturday?

    I heard from a co-worker who lives down in Red Wing they are having 3 bands playing on the water at Bay City Flats Saturday from 2-10 pm. I guess theirs also a boat run coming up from Trempeleau sp? and eating at the Harbor Bar at Noon ~ 200 boats. Sounds like it’s going to be busy on the river

    A poker run will happening this weekend to. Over 60 cigar boats leaving Great River Harbor in Alma and heading north

    At Bay city flats? The water’s so low they’ll be there Monday if they play there Saturday!…lol

    Dont forget about the 100+ bass boats that will be out there….on pools 4 an 5……Saturday an Sunday… ….I hope they have fun…its tough out there with the low water.

    I might havbe to change my plans and fish that area tomorrow morning just to check out the sights(women and bikinis). LOL

    So did this band deal ever happen? I never heard anyone mention it and am curious.

    Went down to the Bay City flats after I left the GTG and didn’t hear any music. They could of been on break too, who knows. So I kept going and found a nice spot to drag jigs and pop some eyes for a couple hours til it got dark. Anybody know if the bands played? Thanks, Bill

    I’m told it did happen. A good friend of mine went out fishing after the get-together….(We had not talked since then..) About 20 boats tied up together just north of Maiden Rock Flats. There were another 25-30 spectator boats in and out of the area all evening.
