Pretty quiet in here. Anybody been trolling the lake lately? Probably headed there this weekend.

made it out for the first time in three weeks on sunday afternoon. all of the walleye and sauger caught were from about 17 to 22 inches but only four of them. trolled cranks in 12 to 14 fow with the jointed crawdads [all the different colors] working the best. we caught the fish from roschen park down to maple springs. good luck

I have not made it out fishing in the last 2 weeks but what was mentioned before me would be a good place to start. If you plan on staying in the lake i would look for steeper breaklines on the wind blown shore line. The 12 to 22 fow would be a good place to start for depths. Color paterns I would assume would be any of the craw patterns, firetiger, and maybe try some more natural patters (shad) if the first ones dont work.

I plan on being out and about this weekend so if you see a red G3 anywere be sure to say hello.

    Hope this helps a little.

We’ll be there Saturday morn and plan on trolling all day. We’ll probably be startin out around Point No Point or the Maiden Rock area. If the fish aren’t cooperating in either of those places we’ll probably check out the steep WI Shoreline across from Long point. We might have to slip down to the Maple Springs area and check it out.

My first ‘real’ trip to Pool 4. I worked Maiden Rock and Point No Point for 4 hours or so.

Caught 1 sauger in 12 FOW trolling lead core.

    Anyone else have any luck?

I caught 5 sandpike and two walleye friday afternoon down by roschen park in 18 to 22 fow all on the crawdad colors again. The biggest was a 21″ sandpike, not really fast and furious but tolerable.
