pool 14 07/22/07

Quick report on pool 14 fished till 1:00 today ended up with nine fish coming to are boat. It started out very slow on jig .We casted cranks no fish we pulled cranks no fish. It had me digging deep in my tackle to find something that would get there attention . If I told you what we caught them on you would think I was full of crap . All I will say is it was a reaction bite. With all the bait out there right now you need you bait to stand out in the crowd. We had one slot and one short the rest were nice keeper size fish. Plus numerous drum , catfish and even a 15 inch smallie. It was a enjoyable day on the water . SOMETIMES WHEN YOU THROUGH THE KITCHEN SINK AT THEM YOU MIGHT JUST GET BIT.

Don’t keep us in suspense. What were you using???? We promise we will not tell anyone else. I was out on Friday and had no luck other than gar and a few bluegills.

one eye or sonar!!!!

I got out tonight for the last hour of day light . I caught 2 19inchers at sunset snap jigging black hair with a small dab of crawler. The reaction bait I used the day before didn’t produce in the low light conditions.I have had good luck on black hair when the sun is low and the water is clean. With the Flw guys already showing up on our pool and I’m sure some of them read these reports . I’m going to keep this “secret weapon ” to myself. It might not ever produce again but I will keep trying it when things get tough. Good luck out there.
