River Conditions Pools 8 & 9 ?

Can anyone tell me what river conditions are on pools 8 & 9? I’m planning to spend the weekend there and am wondering if north of there got a lot of rain that would put a lot of debris in the water.

Pool 8 is at 4.77feet with a low flow. There was some grass coming through last not but it shouldn’t be bad to contend with.

Here in Lacrosse we have not received any rain in weeks. We need rain bad. Low flow right know on 8 & 9, but the fish are biting.

Pools 8 & 9 should be fine. It was pools 10, 11 & 12 that got all the heavy rain. Pool 12 is supposed to rise about 3 feet from where it was before the rains. It has come up about half of that and is still rising. Once it crests it is supposed to fall about 1-1/2 feet and become steady. That means we should have a little better water and flow by early next week down on this stretch of the river. Actually I wish it would stay 3 feet higher than it was.

I did see that the cities picked up some much needed rain the other night. Hopefully that will also help put more water into the river down this way.

Pool 9 is fine.It is LOW & SLOW becareful were your running.If you know 9 well you will be alright.The bite is good, but not great.Just good you should have know problem finding fish.

A lot of weeds on 9, make sure your pumping water good.

Pool 9 is at 7.82 .The last I checked last night

hi,After doing 30 trips on the river this year I would pick 9 as easier to get around in right now.Goose island is the most frustratng place to get around in until you know it on 9.
