i spent the morning out with my dad and another group in another boat this morning. we were on the river at about 6 am and went about 6 miles downstream to start the morning. we started casting cranks on the wingdams with little success(the only sucess coming on the shore side and usually just smallies). then we found a couple of sandy pockets that we could pitch a jig into, this is how we caught the most walleyes/saugers. we probably still only caught 2-3 legal ones. we fished a couple wing dams on the way back up to prescott and ran into a group of silvers but that was about it.
it was pretty slow all morning
