the river is unbelievably low. i was fishing from shore near where the big river enters about 5 miles down from prescott. it was pretty slow. a couple of small saugers and walleyes. but nothing with any size. granted from shore, i cant really get out to the deep end of the wing damns and especially now with the water down, i usually catch more fish

is anyone else seeing the fishing slow down as the water has went down?

I was out fishing the wingdams Sunday morning with a friend. We only caught one decent walleye (23″ long-lining a Walleye Diver across the face). We also tried Dubuque rigs. We did have about 10 sub legal walleyes/saugers and a couple of sheepsheads and a small smallie but I expected better fishing. The current was really at a nice level for fishing a lot of the wingdams. I don’t know what was wrong…my presentations or the fish. It was a nice day to be out but the cruisers really had things rocking and rolling about mid morning.
