First chance to fish in almost 7 weeks. But it was certainly worth it this morning. Fished for two hours on one dam and caught 10 legal eyes and 2 short. Biggest was just short of 24 inches. lindy rig with a leech caught all fish today, but it had to be moving. Kept 4 for the pan, which my son and i had 2 for breakfast. nothing better than fresh fish. Hoping to not have to wait as long as last time to get out again. Good luck fishiong—John

Sounds like a good morning of fishing. Black hair jigs took all my fish on pool 2 today. Was thinking they must look like a leach to the fish. Maybe tomorrow I will bring some leachs with and see if I can coax more than 1 or 2 fish of a single spot.

It is about time you got to get on the water and relax Great job and thanks for the report. I am sure there are more than a few guys that will be glad to hear there are some fish on the dams

I spent a few hours on a few wing dams this morning. I found one dam holding lots of fish. I caught about 10 legals today too, but all mine came on cranks. I also only had 2 or 3 shorts. I tried about 5 dams and only found consistant fish on one.

I was thinking as I was casting cranks “I wish I would’ve brought the leeches today”. The Eyes were hitting the dark colored cranks.
