7/30/03 Upper Pool 4 Report

    Here is another jig/crawler fish. For those of you who like the new ~H2O~ precision jig heads for your plastics, try crawlers on um some time. That wire keeper that is on those jigs works pretty darn good at keeping a crawler attached when threading it up on there like you would a piece of plastic .

    This fish was caught while dragging a 1/16oz jig and half a crawler in 6′ of water.

    One last photo! This fish was caught casting to a current break along a stretch of rip rap on a 3/16oz jig/crawler.

    Man, 8 days of vacation goes by way to fast !

    Hi Mike,

    I spent some time in the dam area over the last week with mixed results . I had a few fish in this area but this time of year the fish are not to over abundant. My numbers of better fish have come from the head of the lake up to the Everts Resort area.

    Well Dusty its been awful hard not commenting on that one but I’ve tried being nice. No fun though. Man you don’t cheat fair. Got pics and stories all made up a week in advance and you hit the botton for next weeks report/pics instead of this weeks. lol. J/K Had to give in and make a remark. Thanks, Bill

    Dave, I guess I can’t think of anything funny to say so please keep ignoring .

    Reef Runner you are right, some of those fish can be rented at Everts Resort if you know the right people. Renting fish from Everts is going to be a lot cheaper than boat rental, especially if they keep losing them

    Great Report O Prophetic One!!
    Just train those toads to hit my jigs when I come to Evert’s the 2nd week of August.
    Lets see…thats only 2 weeks from that report. Hell , they’ll probably forget those H2O jigs by then!

    Hey Dustin- Is it possible for you to post a report say August 6th or 7th for the dates the 9th and 10th? It would really help us guys out that dont get to pool 4 often.
    Ps. Can you also post the weather conditions you had fishing those days. LOL Funny guy here. Great report.
