St. Croix River

I am going to be fishing the WWA championship next week and was wondering what general techniques are normally effective this time of the year. I was wondering if I need to bring all my gear trolling, jigging, handlines, ect. or if I can downsize. Any suggestions on the type of bite to expect would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
