    Hey Jarrad, good report.

    When you say “lower pool 4” you must mean the river, huh. I was out on the lower end of pepin today from 7:30-4:00 and had just about the opposite luck. We stared and ended the day fishing for smallies, but they were a complete NO SHOW all day long. not a single SMB was caught .

    the walleye put on a little better show, but nothing worth bragging about. one here and one there type of deal, with none being over 15″.

    we did catch a couple nice northerns and lost a really big one while in search of the small mouth. and like always, plenty of sheepies to keep your hopes up.

    Fished the upper end of pool 4 today. Slow was the key today.We used floaters and leeches. Took home a nice limit from 17″-19″ and other legal size and our share of shorties. Had a really good time, but thats fishing.

    Jake,

    Most of my fishing has been from Stockhom area and south. I have been playing on the wingies in the alma, wabasha area too.
