I fished the past three days on pool 4 and as the water tempature is on the rise so is my trolling speed. Walleyes are biting in 4-6 feet of water and im getting some nice sandpike in 8-14 feet of water. Some of the sandpike still have bellies full of eggs. I did not find big concetrations of fish in certain areas, but more so at certain depths all over the place. I was prefishing with a buddy last week before the LPO and we boated several nice 4-6lb walleye but I guess he got skunked in the tournament. So my guess is that the fish are definitly on the move from day to day now. I went up to the vermillion river friday what a zoo. It looked like they were hammerin them from what I observed. Should be another big weigh in from up there in the flw this year. these are just some of my observations from a weekend out on the water.

Fellow anglers take care and GOD Bless

Dunno if that was walleye they might have been hammering unless you did see them the time I spent up there last week there was a bunch of white bass in there but there has got to be some piggies in there somewhere so who knows must agree she was a little busy in there Friday morning.

We had fish going up the Vermillion on Thursday but by Saturday our bite was gone. Don’t know if water temps were a factor or if they just headed south. From what we saw Thursday we thought we could pull a couple at least on Saturday but it was dead. Oh well, live and learn I guess.
