pool 2 4-18

I was sure I posted a report, late wed. Good thing I didnt have any valuable info to pass along . Fishing was slow.
We worked the area near the dam pretty heavy. We did get several bites, landed one fish, small eye. We did have several bites, but most were so quick, you couldnt set the hook in time. Tried pausing on casts and vertical. We didnt mark many fish, I think they were sitting on the bottom. Did see one nice 20″ eye caught near the lock wall. Minnows did better than platics.

thanks for the report. i will be heading to p2 tomorrow to try my luck. it was really slow last weekend also.did u throw ringies up there or just grubs?

tried minnows-most bites. tried paddle tails and ringworms as well. The bites seemed like quick tail grabs. Didnt have any smaller twister tails. they may have worked better.
Good luck, the bite should be improving. water was 52-53 if I remember right.
