Current Seams

This may be a dumb question, but what exactly is a current seam and what do you look for. Is this where you see flowing water and right next to it there seems to be slack water. You try and fish right along the edge or transion line.
    Thanks for your input.

You got it right. Most often you will see the *seam* on the surface of the water bordering the current and slack water, or an eddy. An eddy is where the water circulates within a area out of the main current, often has a calm spot in the middle.

Your ideas are right. Most all current seams can be seen on the top of the water. There is still a couple of things to remember though, Not all current seams are visable above water, and where you see the seam on the top of the water may not be exactly where it is under the water or close to bottom.

    Hope this helps.
