I will be up on pool 10 this weekend, any tips on locating or catching walleye in their current pattern would be appreciated. I fish mostly bass, but have a buddy who enjoys the eyes and might try to find a few one of the mornings we are up. Will mostly be north of prarie near harpers- any info on general areas or patterns would be helpful – feel free to pm me if you want. I am pretty inexperienced finding walleye.

Even though the river is coming up were still catching walleyes in front and on top of the wing dams. Also the S curve should put you on some fish….Casting crank baits around the rocks shoud net you a mixed bag of bass and eyes…

Good luck and let us know how you do !!

bassbaron, If I would not be to bold in re-writing your post to say: I am a bass fisherman,(who casts over and over big gaudy wiggledyplunkinjigglinjumpinwingedlaterallineseekin4strokedesilpoweredbucketmouthskudmissles), Who would like a bit of advise on how to finesse fish like all of you walleye guys out there. pm me with any advise. Now that sounds a bit more honest…. See ya at the cabin buddie p.s Ecnook is right on, I am guessing that the fish-fly hatch that started today is going to affect the fishing a bit. P.S.S MarbleEyes if you are reading this you really need to get that bunk bed disassembled so that I can spend a bit more time on the water. Thanks.
