I cant take it anymore. Its been three weeks since I had a line in the water. How is the cold weather going to effect the current pre-spawn bite on pool 4 ? Sat looks to be a nice day to get down and see Dean…

She dropped about 8 degrees yesterday. It may slow things down, but they will be in the area…

One thing for sure in you can’t catch them on the couch!

Ritter popped this one with me and Dean after the temp drop.

the temps dropped like a rock yesterday……the bite for the cabin folks staying here remained remarkably good.Perhaps a slight edge going to livebait finesse presentations, but the bigger fish still coming on Ringies and Paddletails.Pitching in high winds might be challenging though!Dont forget trolling river-rigs with plastics and or bait can be a mighty effective presentation this time of year. One good thing about this weather is you dont have to compete with near the boat traffic!

Deano, I forgot to tell you that your new dock arrangement is cool! Not to mention the new dock…that old one with the floats needed to be retired!

Now I just need to figure out a way to talk you into rod holders on the big dock….

Thanks again for putting me on the fish, the drive from C.R. is pretty easy, if anyone is planning a trip up to see Dean @ Everts a quick way I found from C.R. 380 N to Idependence exit GO 150 north to 52 north and it will bring you out on I-90 go to 63 north in Rochester all the way to Hager City 4hrs and 25 min, anyways the bite is still goood had my limit in 6 minnows and 48 min and back home, then I flew to Port Clinton, Ohio to check out lake Erie ten foot waves I will keep going to Everts for awhile.good luck and good fishin Charlie

Dean, if you do that, he will be stringing extension cords down to the dock for the PC, and you will never get any work out of him! He will have the coffee pot, cookies, phone and ashtray with him!

Tell him you won’t visit him as often if he does!

Shoot! That would be all the more reason for him to do it!
