Another P4 report

I had a chance to hit the water yesterday before this weather rolls in. Sounds like someone else got that elusive 10 pounder although I did connect with this pair. The biggest was 9-8 and was just a hair shy of 28″. I was trying to do a self portrait so sorry for the zombie expression. I really was happy to catch them!

Both fish came on chartreuse/green core ringworms on 3/16 sour apple heads. Also took a few on firecracker/chartreuse tail including a stud 24.5″ male walleye. I caught fish both pitching seams and slow upstream retrieves through eddies with heavier heads in the 5/16 range. This weather really has me bummed. I was hoping to spend a couple more days this week on the water. Hopefully the cold won’t affect the bite too much but it looks like we’ll be needing to bundle up!

Those girls are Beauties, I’ve got to get out there. Maybe I’m starting to feel a little sick here at work.

Ugh I have no idea, what in the heck I’m doing wrong down there, I got skunked down there, again yesterday, I used the same tatics and colors, and couldn’t connect with anything, we did get there a bit later than most people, and the line of boat on the shore was crazy, we tried to get in and fish some of the areas, but there was just too many boats, my anchor wouldn’t hold me either, I used a lot of trolling motor yesterday. We fished a lot of current seams all over the place and couldn’t get it going.

I just don’t understand why I’m not tying into ANY fish.
