Well, finally a weekend of free time to fish Pepin and last night’s rains have me wondering if it will be worthwhile. Thoughts on what to expect regarding water levels, debris, and the walleye bite?

Last count, river rising from 3.5 to 9 feet. Graph still going up, but they almost always over estimate the crest, which was still not predicted yet this morning. Should be some debris, but have already had some high water so it might not be as much. Fishing gets real tough when the water is rising a foot plus a day.
