Fishing sat. on pool 4, wow lets talk wind. Was getting a few sauger on the drift. Nothing big to talk about. Then it was like I had a snag, then it let up a little. Felt real good, but it wasn’t pulling back at all. Sure feels big when it come to the surface wow a first for me. I caught my first fish landing net only problem was no fish in it. A guy on shore shouts [nobody will believe that] Should I have it mounted?

    Must be the week…..
I caught my 3rd (lifetime) fishing pole last week in Wisconsin (Bear Lake). …1st in ‘sconny though!! No nets here. That makes 2 anchors, 3 fish poles, 1 spear and 1 fish sack, not to mention the other garbage over the years. …I left the pole at the access in case the owner was still look’in for it. It was an ugly stick with an Abu Garcia reel. …..Still had a rattle trap on it. The whole rig was really rusted over. …..I just wish I could catch somth’in really good one day – like a 12lb. walleye!!
