Water temp running about 39.5 in main channel and about 41 at dam. Fish were biting on jigs (with plastic and minnow)and blade baits. The blade baits and larger plastic produced the slot fish. The bite seemed to turn on about noon as the front got closer. Caught fish anywhere from 6’to 20′ of water fishing current seams and drop offs.
I seen the post on dragging jigs so I tried it with a blade. I pulled it up stream keeping it just off the bottom checking for bottom intermitantly. When the blade stoped vibrating I set the hook. Produced a nice slot limit fish that got off at boatside. Then it was time to go home already an hour late.
