Pool 14 walleye

Just curious if anyone knows if the ramps in the Clinton, IA area are open? Anyone been out chasing walleyes yet?

as of thursday down around albany was still froze up pretty good. i cant tell you about up by clinton.

I checked today, and the south Clinton ramp is open in Beaver Slough, and I believe the 25 ave North ramp is open also. River was still stopped up right above the rte 30 bridge.
There where 8 or 10 trailers at the south Clinton ramp this afternoon. Did not get a chance to talk to anyone, but I may try to get out for a bit tommorrow and see what’s happening!

I got out Thursday afternoon out of south Clinton caught six keepers 2 shorts. I didn’t get a bite till after dark they were crushing ringies for the first hour after dark. We got out before light this morning caught one right away. Once the sun came up we never had another bite. They were biting from 19 to 24 foot of water.
