Boone and I hit Pool 3 for some of the action he had a chance to get in on during the last week. We left Prescott at 3 and headed for a milk run of the wing dams going south. We were using Dubuque rigs with a variety of plastics and live bait. The action was not as fast as Boone had seen a few days earlier but we did catch fish. We caught over 20 fish with the majority being walleyes. We had 3 sauger , 2 sheephead and a silver bass take our offerings. My hilight for the evening was a nice 24″ walleye. We had some nice legal length walleyes with only a few under the 15″ size limit. We finished the evening right before dark and it was a very satisfying trip. Here is my walleye.

Dino, I know this has been addressed on another post but when your software scrunches up that pic, I never knew how “bass-like” a 24″ walleye could appear!! Paint that tail black and marker some bars and you’ve got it!!! A Mississippi “basseye”!
