Fished the wingdams below Prescott today. Caught 7 legal sized walleyes with one being 23″. The others ran 16-18″. Tossed back several 14″ (20) or so. Also 3 smallies. All were taken on nightcrawlers, with a plain size 6 hook with a half once lindy rig sinker setup. 4th trip to the wingdams this season, river is slowing down and the fishing should only get better in this area of the river. Fished the Kinni narrows 6 or 7 times earlier in the season with many 14″ walleyes being caught with the same method. One fish did hit 7#. Been a pretty good start to the season and should only improve.
