Still rather new to posting, but I will try to keep this brief and to the point. Had a rather interesting day today. My buddy and I spent most of the day with a jig and minnow. We managed to catch a fair amount of fish, the majority unfortunatly were on the small side.
The one fish my buddy did catch more than made up for it. He hooked into a sturgeon and an hour later and about a 1/2 mile he was holding onto about a 55 plus inch fish! It still blows my mind what is swimming around in that river! Hopefully I will figure out how to get some pictures up soon.
All in all, great day on the river, weather couldnt have been better and we still managed to bring home dinner and then some.

But I’ll warn you…they might be reposted in the catfishing forum next door. We have many cat guys that love sturgeon fishing!

Great post. No need to keep things short around here. Were all love to read about each others adventures.

Nice to meet you Vez , that was me chatting with you loading my boat when you pulled up.

We got skunked. Finding the fish wasn’t a problem, getting them to hit was impossible.
