I think this was about the best 3 days in a row that I have had on pool 4. Most of my time was spent pulling 3-ways at the bouy line. Floaters and live bait, Fri. it was crawlers, Sat leeches, and today a little bit of both. We did go down to the lake on Fri. morning and pulled cranks, I think we could of put some good numbers in the boat but I got tired of cleaning debris off the cranks after about 45 minutes. Tried the backwaters for a few hours and got a few out of putnam but that was it. It sure is nice to have the t-shirt weather again. Below is a 27 1/2″ I got on Sat. Take care…

    Hey Kerry ,

How do you rig your live bait set-up when running a 3-way set up ?

Hawg, Congrats to finishing off a great week of fishing in style Sunday. The green boat sure likes the green markers. Did you have much going at Putnam during the week?

Congrats Kerry and nice fish. I see you have a good bite going on down there right now. Alot of anglers get very discouraged this time of year due to the high water and lots of debris. Looks like you are having yourself a good time!

Dave, 12 inches on the dropper, 1 ounce chunck of lead, 40 inch leader to a phelps style floater. That fish came on a leech but I had other nice ones on crawlers. Take care…

Hey Hawg, nice fish. Hit them again today, only out for a test ride to see if I smoke checked my motor, and of course you need leeches with you when you do things like that. Got another five,a four and a two pounder in one hour. Just before the downpour. But the best news is that the new Johnson ran like a top. No funny grinding noises.

We trolled cranks south of Lake City for about 3.5 hrs Sun. Caught lots of fish, but only two legals. Anyone else try the lake on Sunday?

Was below Maple Springs sat. Had a good steady bite all day. Nothing big. Most were 15 – 18. 8 to 12 ft. and had to keep speed right close to 3mph. or nothing. Using #5 jointed shad raps, fire tiger. For number wise was one of better days had in a long time. Back Sunday. First hour was fair but then went dead for me for the eyes. Tried a lot of different things but could’nt get back on them. Started throwing ringworms shallow and did manage to get some smallies but no size. Good luck.
